Here's my LO for Pencil Lines Sketch 244. I had a lot of fun putting this together, basically just challenging myself to do something I haven't done before and just randomly pick out things from my stash to add to the LO. I also downloaded some very fun Echo Park elements to use for this project.
Title: Best Friends
Materials: Patterned Paper - The Girls Paperie, Little Yellow Bicycle, American Crafts; Die-cut elements - Echo Park Digital; Chipboard - Making Memories; Pebbles; Buttons - Pebbles, Ribbon - Pebbles; Pen - American Crafts; Misc lace
I hope you join us for this week's challenge and check out the other amazing work by the DT here.

Pencil Lines Sketch 242
Here's my LO for Pencil Lines Sketch 242. I finally got to use the "It's Your Day" collection from Nikki Sivils Winter 2011 CHA. I love how this LO turned out...
Our family tradition is to have a birthday cake ready when the celebrant wakes up....I suppose you can call it a Breakfast Cake. That's why you see my daughter in her school uniform and with her hair still wet from her morning shower. This is a practice I picked up from the "Yaya Sisterhood" book and sometimes, late at night, when everyone is asleep and I'm slaving away downstairs finishing decorating the cake, I wish I didn't even start it....But I am determined to do this so my kids will grow up and say that on their birthdays, they always woke up with a cake that Mommy made...
Title: It's Your Birthday
Materials: Patterned papers, stickers - Nikki Sivils; Cardstock - Wassau, DCWV; Felt - Fancy Pants; Twine - The Twinery; Pen - American Crafts; misc - jewels
Hope you can join us at Pencil Lines for this week's challenge!

Burlap & Buttercups June 2011 Kit
I am so proud to present my LOs for the inaugural kit of the brand new kit club Burlap and Buttercups (don't you just love the name???)!
This kit is awesome and even better with the add-ons!
The main June 2011 kit contains the ff:
The add-on contains:
In this 1st LO, I painted the chipboard frames with Distress Crackle Paint and then misted with the Maya Mist! I love the effect of the Maya Mist...it has a different kind of sparkly finish vs others. I also used my Slice machine to die-cut the swirls.
Title: Child's Play
In this 2nd LO, I used my scallop punch to cut out the flowers and then wrapped twine across and around it. I used my Slice machine again to cut out the flower patterns.
Title: Tiptoe
This 3rd LO is a quick one with some fussy-cutting and basically just putting the elements together until it looked right.
Title: Just Rosy
