Damsel in Distress

Finished this LO of Nadya last week. Lately it seems that her face has been looking like this more and more often. Even when we are very careful to make sure that she gets as much attention (sometimes even more) than Luis and Bianca, she still has something to complain about.

Most of the time it's because "she wanted to be born first. Why was Luis born first?" If anybody has the answer that will make her stop asking that question, please tell me.

Other than the fact that she whines about almost everything, she's very sweet and we love her to bits. It doesn't hurt that she looks gorgeous even when she's whining.

Title: Damsel in Distress

Journaling: I know it's not easy to be the middle child, I am one, too. Just remember when life seems unfair, that I will always love you. Nadya 032208

Materials: Bazzill cs, Deja Views pps, 7 Gypsies stickers, Uniball Signo pen, American Crafts Velvet Thickers, Making Memories rub-on letters, brads and acrylic paint, misc bling swirl & metal letters, corrugated board for stamping. Digital frame by Rhonna Farrer from 2 Peas in A Bucket.

I've seen so many digital elements using corrugated board so I experimented with it in this LO. I used the board as a stamp and I love the distressed effect. Just peel off the paper from a piece of corrugated board, apply acrylic paint and stamp before the paint dries.

The photos themselves are a contradiction with Nadya in a pretty girly dress but with her blue leggings showing because of her not so lady-like sitting position.
