Merry Christmas!

Good Morning everyone! No, I am not awake this early...thank God for scheduled posts! I hope you all are having a Merry Christmas!
Here is my Christmas LO which appeared on the Pebbles blog the yesterday.

Title: Waiting for Midnight


Materials: 

Pebbles Products Used: Tree House Pebbles Chips (744114), Tree House Epoxy Brads (744231), Tree House Bliss (751033), Tree House Trunk (751034), Tree House Fun (751035), Red Spool Ribbon (44029); 

Other Products Used: Cardstock (American Crafts, DCWV), Pen (American Crafts), Punches (EK Success, Martha Stewart), Letter Stickers (Autumn Leaves, Making Memories), Misc - doily lace

Journaling: Here in the Philippines, our kids don't need to wait for Christmas morning to open their presents...they only need to  be awake when the clock strikes at midnight on Christmas Eve.

After an evening mass, we all gather in my mom's house dressed in our Christmas finery to wait for midnight when we eat our Noche Buena...a huge feast when the family gathers together to celebrate Jesus' birth.

The waiting time is one of the best times to take pictures of the kids, as they are at their most cooperative selves. They can't risk anything at this point as it is so close to "opening presents time". 

And when midnight comes, the riot begins as gift wrappers are torn and the kids start squealing with delight.

At around 2AM, we go home loaded with presents, prepare milk and cookies for Santa, and finally go to sleep to wake-up to a full day of more family get-togethers, more eating and lots & lots of presents!
